Can't attend a class or event with Daughters of
the New Moon or just want extra opportunities to see or do some
dancing? Here are some classes and events by other
organizations around Juneau that may be of interest:

Bellydance for the Graceful Klutz with Shawn.
Basic class for beginning dancers. Wednesdays,
6:30-8pm, February 8 - March 28 (8 classes) at Floyd Dryden. Registration through community schools.

Middle Eastern Drumming
with Cherri. Basics of Middle Eastern drumming
and rhythms.
Drum not required. Wednesdays, 7-8pm, February 22 - March 28
(6 classes) at Floyd Dryden. Registration through community schools.

Dance form inspired by the Punjabi folk dancers of Northern India.
Mondays, 7-8:30pm, January 17 - March 12, 2012. Full session sign-up or

Eastern Dance with Shawn. UAS Spring Semester (1 credit).
Thursdays 7:30-9:30pm.
- Hand Drumming Technique
with M.D. Gamble (alias Rogue Drummer). Private and group
