  • Classic Oriental Routine ~ $100
When you think of bellydance, this is it!  A full length, 20-30 minute, performance consisting of 3-6 music choices that showcase the dancer’s variety of skills, which may include veil, wings, cane, sword, or drums.  Audience participation may be included if appropriate.

  • Troupe Performance ~ $180 - $300
A full length, 25-35 minute, performance by the troupe consisting of a mixture of full troupe numbers as well as solos and duets.  Perfect to energize events in larger venues such as wedding receptions, office holiday party or special event.  Three or more troupe members are available at a rate of $60 per dancer, up to a maximum amount of $300 for 5 or more dancers.

  • Taste of Bellydance ~ $75 - $200
Add an extra special flair to your next social gathering by adding a mini lesson to the schedule, an exciting change of pace for you and your guests.  Particularly fun for baby showers, children/teen sleepovers or birthday parties, and bachelorette parties.  The cost depends on the length of the lesson (usually 30 minutes up to an hour) and the number of people attending. A 10-minute performance can be included.

  • Give the gift of dance!  Gift certificates are available for the above services or for specific amounts that may be applied towards class tuitions, performances, or in-home lessons.

Whenever possible,
to assure that a performer will be available,
~ for a solo performance please contact us a minimum of 1 week in advance ~

A clean, obstruction free area is necessary for performance.  Please provide your own sound system for the best quality sound.

Becoming an interactive audience
Below are some common words that you can use to encourage dancers (and other members of the audience) during the performance:
"Opa!" (pronounced: oh-Pa), the equivalent of bullfighting's "Olé", translates to "Well Done".
"Hizzy Hizzy!" translates to "Shake Shake" or "Shake it Baby!", commonly called during drum solos.
"Jamilah" (pronounced: jah-Mee-la) translates to "Beautiful", common during slower pieces but appropriate any time.
"Ya Habibi" (pronounced: Yah  ha-bee-bee) translates to "Beautiful One" or "Beautiful Dancer"; general term of encouragement.
"Ya Su" translates to “Yes”; a general term of encouragement.
Yallah (pronounced Yah-La) translates to “Good Job!”, common during faster dances.

Other 'sound effects' include:
"Rrrrrrr" (rolled 'r's) - general sound of encouragement.
"Ssssss" unlike in melodrama performances, this call is used during slow songs to encourage the dancer's slow, graceful, or sinuous movements.
A 'zagarheet' - a fast high falsetto 'lalalala' used for celebrations (anytime we dance it's a celebration!).

If you are too busy enjoying the performance to call out, clapping along to the music is always welcome and appreciated.

Tipping:
Tipping the dancer is another way to interact and show your appreciation of the performance.  There are several appropriate ways to do so, depending on your and the dancer's level of comfort.  Most commonly there will be a basket set out where tips may be placed.   Other options include a "money shower" (a fun interaction where an audience member tosses bills over the head of the dancer), handing it to the dancer or tucking it into her costume where she directs you to do so, handing it to her after the show, or including it with the payment.
